Mama, this holiday season, whether you need a pick me up (pumpkin spice latte!) or a settle down (a pumpkin spice mocktail!), we’ve got you covered.

We know you could use a little help sometimes. So, we’ve put our favorite fall flavor–pumpkin spice– into a simple syrup. Make it ahead of time and voilà! You’ve got the main ingredient ready anytime it’s time for a treat. (Which is all the time, amirite?)

PUMPKIN SPICE MOCKTAIL RECIPE: AKA, “MAMA’S HELPER”

Start with the Pumpkin Spice syrup:

⅓ cup pumpkin puree fresh or canned

1 cup sugar or Splenda

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 ¼ cups water

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ teaspoon cloves

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

Combine all ingredients together in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk together until the sugar melts. Continue to whisk for 5 minutes until the mixture thickens and will cover the back of a spoon. Bottle and refrigerate.

For a refreshing mocktail: combine 1 ounce Pumpkin Spice Syrup, 1 ounce lime juice, and 4 ounces ginger beer over ice. For extra festive points, serve in a copper mug with a lime garnish.

Bonus! For your own home-made Pumpkin Spiced Latte: add one ounce (or more!) to your favorite coffee drink.
